Their ethnicity is Berber, or Amazigh! While their names dip in and out of female and male alike, they themselves have chosen no exact gender, though dress as a Tuareg man. They have not chosen the traditional blue dyed garments of their fellows, either because they just haven't tried to dye their clothes or for some other unspoken reason.
The Tuareg tribe is located in the Sahara Desert, in Northern Africa, and they speak both Arabic and Tahaggart at this time and place. Though they know some broken English, enough to understand someone else and communicate, it isn't quite good enough to sound... well good. It sucks, but they're trying.
No, their skin is not bone white. It is a dark brown, with pronounced dark circles under their eyes.
